Westbus takes over Armchair Coaches
On 1st November 2006 Westbus took over the famous, long standing Armchair Coaches business based at Brentford.
A selection of the coaches and all of the key staff transferred over to the new combined Westbus/Armchair business, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience with them.
Tim Miles, General manager commented – This exciting move brings together two of London’s biggest and foremost coach hire operations.
With a combined fleet approaching 40 vehicles, Westbus incorporating Armchair coaches is now well placed to attract further new business, particularly as our size and strength will give us the advantage of being able to supply large numbers of modern, top quality coaches to all of our customers and clients.
The new company will operate vehicles in both Westbus and Armchair liveries.
